I won't be the least bit sorry to see it pass into the annals of history. For me, on a personal level, it was a time of change, certainly a time of reflection and sadly a time of loss. One of my dear friends left this planet quite unexpectedly earlier this year, taking a piece of me with her, and leaving a huge hole in my life.
As I look forward to 2012, I face it with hope, with plans for the future and with a renewed determination. As I prepare to cast this ship afloat, I pray the winds and weather propel it into friendly seas. I wish nothing less for all of you.
