17 Comments on New Year Fitness in Golden
You are right on here. Getting in shape and exercising is key to maintaining good health and reducing some extra lb's.
Have a great... and healthy new year!
I do not know about boot camp but getting in shape is a great way to start the year.
Hey Rick,
Really excellent post that should generate some interest for you in the New Year. SUGGEST. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and best of success to you now and in 2012!
I'm ready for the New Year in fitness! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years! Now let's go eat, drink and be merry....and than go work out!
Rick, looks like there is a fitness program in your area that should be suitable for everyone in the coming year.
Hi Rick - After all the partying and eating during the holidays, it will be time to get back into shape for spring and the beaches!!!
We have come along way since we had to hunt for food and chop wood. that lifestyle produced Lincoln type men and Betsy Ross type women...Add that we like to eat as a reward and pleasure instead of hunger and finally we drive everywhere and no wonder people are out of shape
I am sure there are many that have started that new year's resolution list. Very timely post.
Not sure if I am going to change my exercisse regime in 2012, I might add running or a little more aerobic activity. Perfect time to write a fitness localism post!
I plan on losing a few lbs this coming year, but I can't make it to CO to do it. I'm sure the locals there will be interested in this blog!
Great post and great reminder. But....like they always say, "the best kind of exercise is the one you do consistently." For all those resolving to get in shape in the new year, I say "go for it" and stick with it! Being fit is a treasure that affects every other aspect of your life for the better.
Happy Holidays!
We all should consider how to take off those extra Christmas pounds we may have gained - thanks for the reminder. :) Merry Christmas!
Every year we make some sort of fitness plan or another, but I don't think it's the actual workout that we need to commit to. It need to be the time and will.
I am a walker and I love to daily get my 10,000 steps, in. I also love a par course that we in the sunny city of San Diego have when walking. Happy Holidays.
Good, timely localism post. Here's to a fit and healty 2012.
Rick, with this topping most everyone's lists for resolutions, GREAT topic! Also, Comcast On Demand has many fitness videos for FREE! Congrats on the Feature!
Thank you for all the great responses and the suggests!! Colorado is a very fit state, but finding the right fit can be hard sometimes. So many people join gyms and only use them occasionally; even I am guilty of that. Hopefully this will give people some ideas on new ways to have fun and be fit.
