There are those who want to be around successful people and they cling to successful people the same way metals clings to a magnet. They want to be seen with them, associated with them.
But are they a true friend?
A true friend is there for us through the ups and downs that we experience. They will stand with us in our setbacks and will be seen with after we have experienced failure.
True friends are a one in a million and more precious than gold. They are a valuable resource and bring value into our lives.
Be a friend have a friend. Be a true friend without the expectation of being rewarded for the friendship other than being a friend and the fellowship that the friendship offers.
Fair weather friends are along for the ride and want to hang on to the others people’s success. The moment the light of the person’s success begins to dims the person that hanging disappears.
Build your friendships on bedrock be a friend have a friend and you will be there to support your true friend’s success journey and they will be there for you.
