I've had more fun with my kids this year. My oldest turned 8 and the next 6, 5, 2 and 1. The older two finally get the hang of football and we have played more football this year. It's been a blast. I love the snow....but with so much fun with my children playing football, I wished that it would be postponed for a couple of weeks....maybe just in time for Christmas. However, tonight we are to get 4-6 inches of that white stuff. I know that I could teach them football in the snow, but I think that I'd be one of those dads that are shoving their own likes on their kids.
We'll see...tomorrow there may be no school and we'll end up sledding. Let's see. Be careful out there....there are a lot of drivers driving in the snow like grandmothers with cataracts. I'm sucking it up and am making the transition for two sons who are praying for snow related school closures tomorrow.
Good for you....taking the time to be in the moment w/ your kids. Speaking as the soon to be empty-nester w/ 3 grown boys, I must tell you to treasure these times! They go by so incredibly fast. I hope you all have fun in the snow and a wonderfully Merry, WHITE Christmas!
