A few days ago I wrote a post about a Prince William County elementary school, Brentsville Elementary, that started in 1870 and is in a very historic center. It included the video above.
I had a comment by Debb Janes inquiring if I had a "fluid head" tripod since the "panning" was very smooth. I do have a cheap tripod - I think it's in the trunk of my car.
Since my videos are uploaded to YouTube I have a secret weapon.
- Open your YouTube account
- Click on Video Manager
- Select the video you want to "smooth"
- Click on the EDIT button to the right
- When the video comes up click on the ENHANCEMENTS button above it
- Click on STABILIZE
- As it runs you will see a BEFORE and AFTER Screen
- When it is finished running click on the SAVE button to the upper right.
- It takes about 30 minutes for the edit to be completed
I was told about this method quite a few months ago. Unfortunately, I can't remember where, but if it was on AR I apologize for not giving credit.
