How do you define great service? I define it as Goodyear Tire and Auto in Bellevue!

Hi all: I had the distinct pleasure of having great service twice today. It was amazing. How do you define great service?

Today my car wouldn't start at lunchtime after starting fine earlier this morning. This was the second time my car appeared dead in the last few days. One of my acquaintances wondered aloud if it was the alternator. Having had to replace alternators before this made sense, especially given the fact my car has almost 150,000 miles on it.

Enter Brent of Goodyear Tire and Auto Service. This is the second time I've been to see them and both times the service has been knowledgeable, honest, reasonable and fast. I was prepared for the worst thinking new alternator when Brent called me and said they would start with the battery as it appeared to be pretty corroded. $52 later my car runs like a charm. Brent even helped me get my radio going again as it needed a new code after having the battery disconnected. Never once did I feel like Goodyear was trying to sell me something. Needless to say, I will be back to them shortly as I have some other work that needs to be done.

After leaving Goodyear my navigation system wasn't programmed right so I stopped at the Acura dealer. They also recoded that with no additional charge.

I know we all want to provide great service and be remembered. For me it might be providing that quit claim deed for a borrower because their name changed. In other words, great service should just be done with no thought to our time, money, etc. At least that's what Brent and his team at Goodyear Tire and Auto did today. How do you define great service?
