The phone call yesterday started with, “I am calling because I think we have the wrong realtor helping us!”
After listening to the story and the details of the home – it came down to one question, “What is the price of the home?”
Of course, it’s over-priced. And Sellers, please be reminded, that even the wrong realtor can sell a home at the right price. Price your home right and it will sell – especially now in Tucson – multiple offers are back and the condition of homes on the market are good – some nearly perfect!
So the next time you think you have the wrong real estate agent – remember two things:
- Your real estate agent works for you. Your agent cannot make you price your home at anything other than what you want it to be! We can guide you, let you know what the best price is, etc., but the bottom line is – it’s your home and you determine the price.
- If you want: “to test the market”, “you don’t care if the home sells or not”, “you have time to wait for the right person to pay what you want” – then any good realtor will be the wrong realtor for you.
You can’t go wrong if you price right!
