This is definitely a speechless Sunday picture. Words to describe this picture-Beauty-peace- inviting just don't suffice. Thanks Kweeh
Leslie, I was surprised to see a creek with green water turns white, we found it in the Oscar Scherer State Park.
Kwee, what a beautiful photo, and interesting how the color of the water changed! Happy Sunday my friend!
Absolutely gorgeous, Kwee! Do you know why the phenomena of water turning from green to white happens there?
Kwee, that is a gorgeous photo! Like Myrl, I'd like to know why the green to white water?
Kwee: That is so pretty! Where was it taken? Local Park? Vacation? Curious minds want to know!
Can always count on you Kwee to see some really pretty photos. Have a good week!
That is sulfur spring. The white stuff is filamentous bacteria that is "eating" the sulfur in the water - Thiothrix bacteria.
The picture was taken on the Earth Day Celebration at Oscar Scherer State Park in Osprey FL. Located between Sarasota and Venice FL.
