One of our frequent places to go over the past decade has been the fabulous Chastain Park Baseball and Softball fields – affectionately known as NYO (Northside Youth Organization.) It’s a series of fields for kids ages 4-18. From the t-ball to the Senior leagues, there have been a number of incredible plays as well as laughs as the t-baller’s provide adorable moments.
This month however, a 6 year old little leaguer, Ross Bernath, made an amazing sequence of plays to record an unassisted triple play of three outs during his game. What is really impressive is not only that he caught the ball, but that he had the presence of mind to continue making outs!
