A recent study on the effects of drinking coffee show that moderate consumption in people over 65 (3 or so cups a day - but what is considered a cup?) prevents Alzheimer symptoms from developing. A study by the University of South Florida published a year ago tipped us off to this. Now their most recent study conducted with the University of Miami provides even more details.
Coffee has already been found to demonstrate a range of health benefits in addition to generally prolonging life.
I sure am glad I took up coffee drinking way back when - and glad that I drink it the way it comes out of the pot.
Coffee is the miracle beverage, and it seems the more we learn about aspirin that it may be the miracle medicine. Both have been with us for so long that they are just part of our lives. Who knew?
