The News For Coffee Drinkers Just Keeps Getting Better

By
Education & Training with Steve Hoffacker LLC

A recent study on the effects of drinking coffee show that moderate consumption in people over 65 (3 or so cups a day - but what is considered a cup?) prevents Alzheimer symptoms from developing. A study by the University of South Florida published a year ago tipped us off to this. Now their most recent study conducted with the University of Miami provides even more details.

Coffee has already been found to demonstrate a range of health benefits in addition to generally prolonging life.

I sure am glad I took up coffee drinking way back when - and glad that I drink it the way it comes out of the pot.

Coffee is the miracle beverage, and it seems the more we learn about aspirin that it may be the miracle medicine. Both have been with us for so long that they are just part of our lives. Who knew?

I just started drinking coffee about 8 years ago. I was at a clients home and did not want to be rude... I think I over used her French Vanilla creamer but I loved the coffee... I have cut back on the flavorings but still drink the coffee... Thanks for the info.

Diane,

I like a flavored cup once in a while but always come back to the dark roast. :)

Hi Steve, great news for coffee drinkers of which I am not. I go with green tea.

Is there any hope? How much coffee do I have to drink to catch up to the statistics ?

Have a great weekend.

Wayne,

Me too on the coffee. Aspirin now seems to ward off many cancers in addition to heart issues. :)

Irene,

That's the interesting thing about this study. It was starting at 65. Also, caffeine seems to be the key. :)

Irene,

Last year USF found that drinking coffee in sufficient amounts from your 30s onward was beneficial. :)
