Upyri - A Cinematic Music Video -- It Means A Lot to ME~!

Some of the readers of my blog (or column as some call them) know that I've dabbled in the ever exploding movie industry here in Atlanta and Georgia. You can see Clint Eastwood, or Justin Timberlake or Jennifer Lopez if you look closely. Margaret Cho has claimed Atlanta home with her role in Drop Dead Diva on Lifetime Television.

But there is another side to the television and film industry here in Atlanta. It's those that have the talent that are doing what they can to be discovered. Maybe they have a way with hair and makeup and hope to be a personal assistant to an actor, or work on feature films. They may have lighting talent, a painter who can create that life-like background, or a cameraman looking for the chance. And there are those that want to be a Director. And of course, the actors.They look for projects like Upyri that they see not only potential but a worthy production.

I'm pleased to be a part of a new cinematic music video production called Upyri. While it seems the vampire route is the rage on TV, this is a different take on it. As you will see in the video below, Earth Webb even says it's more a psychological thing than it is about blood and vampires.

To start a project like this, you need actors, filming locations, makeup, costumes, lighting, equipment and more. As you can imagine, all of that costs money. This project, the actors have donated their time in hopes of seeing Upyri becoming an online sensation and perhaps being picked up by a network for further production!
