Where is the best place to sell domain names? I am sure the Activerain community has experts in this field and I have accumulated several domain names over the years. I do not have the first clue how to sell them and would love the input from some of the domain gurus that hang around the AR water cooler.
Most of my domains are related to real estate and I have actually seen other companies that use my domain as their slogan, my thought is just to contact them and see if they are interested in buying the name. But even if they did I do not know the next step, how do you transfer a domain to someone else that wants it?
I know Godaddy has auctions and I have tried this but have had no luck. I am sure most of them are not very valuable and even those that might have some value are not going to be huge, I am not expecting to "win the lottery" with any names, I just thought if someone else was seeking these they should get a chance to buy, or at least be aware they are for sale.

Any ideas out there? Has anyone had any luck with this?
