DO YOU ALWAYS KEEP YOUR DOORS OPEN?

PHOENIX PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

I wanted to share a recent picture of a home that was broken into by a squatter. The next store neighbor called me to inform me that someone had broken into the home. As you can see, someone tore the entire patio door right off. Luckily, there was no other damage to this home. However, some people will go to long lengths to sleep for a night. It surprises me that none of the neighbors heard the glass break.

So, I had to meet the local police at ten o'clock at night. I filed a burglary report on behalf of the owner. So, we proceeded to go into the home to secure the property. Again, we could tell someone was sleepting there by empty beer bottles and somebody tried to use the toilet. It was strange that the electricity was still on.

Just another day in Phoenix Property Management!

I list a lot of bank owned property. I had one where the squatters even moved in their livestock. Although this house wasn't bank owned, but just vacant. The local sheriff's department didn't want to give me the time of day until we found drugs on the property. It's an epidemic with our vacant houses right now. Just recently I had someone take a shed off a bank owned property. Now how are we going to find that? This is an extremely rural area and the properties are spread far apart.

We are seeing more and more of this around here, especially with bank owned properties. I think this is why the banks are getting renters in more and more of their foreclosures while they are for sale to secure the property.
