A Realtor asked if she could connect with me, I accepted and followed up with an email thanking her and letting her know she was my 2000th connection.
She followed up the same day, saying that she wanted to get connected, mainly because of the amount of recommendations and her broker was one of the recommendations.
She told me that her mother worked for a local credit union, but there were so many mortgage products that they didn’t do. No VA, FHA, 203K, USDA or HARP, all of which we do. They were not offering loans for customers under a 660 credit score.
She told me that the majority of her customers did not qualify for 20% down conventional mortgages. So, she was not able to help 4 out 5 potential home buyers.
Since that initial email, she has referred two clients and I was able to do a preapprovals for them.
