The No-Cheeseball East Sacramento Agent

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

A buyer for a home in East Sacramento yesterday called her previous agent a cheeseball. She didn't really call him a cheeseball as much as she said his behavior and attitude was cheesebally. It got to the point where I had to tell her to stop talking about her previous agent because that part of her history was over and she couldn't change it. All she could do was move forward with her new East Sacramento agent and try to buy a home.

You've got to wonder whether people contribute to their own problems in real estate. Because what rational agent would turn down business? But sometimes agents drive away their clients. I don't know why.

Problem with such customers or clients is that, if you don't succeed, they're likely to speak of you in the same manner.

I don't think I'm in much danger of being called a cheeseball, Lenn, but I know what you mean.

There are a few agents I sometimes feel the need to send a thank you note.

If that relationship wasn't working, at least it ended.  Even the best agents ( no idea if cheeseball agent even remotely falls into that category) can rub folks the wrong way.  Sometimes it's just a personality conflict.

Chessebally... hmm.. is that an adjective Elizabeth?

You were right about getting over the first agent. Some have a need to hang on to the misery.

Morning Elizabeth actually I've seen it happen.  Working with an agent now and I have a buyer for some land in a community nearby.  Can't get the agent to get me the data I need.  Pity
