Is your list made and are you checking it twice like the Christmas song goes?
I am busy making lists these days. First of all, is my Christmas gift list as Christmas is just a few weeks away.
Secondly, I am making lists for sales meetings and training sessions with my agents. Lists that contain things I do not want to forget to talk about. Lists of activities the agents need to do to be successful. Lists of clients and customers and referrals and where they are, where they have gone, where they are going. Lists, lists and more lists.
Thirdly, is the list of New Year's resolutions I want to incorporate into my own life this next year. Maybe I will even compile a list of possibilities for agents that never seem to be able to come up with their own.
Lastly, I am thinking about the lists of things I need to do personally as a broker and small business owner to make my business more profitable. In this list includes a project. Every year I try to have a project that either improves ME like more education, or a designation. Or a project of building or remodeling a property that will increase my net worth. This next year may prove to be a very good year with the plans I am beginning to formulate.
What kind of lists do you have? Are you a planner? Do you make lists? I do because I can't rely on my memory to remember to do all the things I intend to do every day or every year. People who make lists and who have goals always seem to accomplish more than the others. Don't you think so?
