SETTLERS RESERVE - - A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE IN WESTLAKE, OH
During 2013, the members of TEAM PRIBISKO (from Keller Williams Greater Cleveland West), Steve and Pat Pribisko, will celebrate their 30th anniversary as homeowners in Settlers Reserve. They are the Realtors who have the best knowledge of Settlers Reserve for both Sellers and Buyers.
Settlers Reserve was one of the first upscale neighborhoods in Westlake. It remains one of the most desired neighborhoods in Westlake. Settlers Reserve has about 500 homes, but they are different, as there are a variety of home designs and sizes (with a number of homes that have tasteful additions). Yet, the homes in Settlers Reserve are still reasonably affordable.
The location of Settlers Reserve is ideal. It is approximately one to two miles to everything a homeowner might need – especially Crocker Park, the Promenade, restaurants of all kinds and prices and entertainment of various types.
Another important aspect of Settlers Reserve is the access to healthcare. There is full service hospital (St. John West Shore, an affiliate of University Hospital Systems), facilities for outpatient surgeries (a part of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation) and various other facilities with skilled physicians (such as Premier Physicians among others). And, for seniors, Westlake has facilities for independent living, assisted living and nursing homes of various levels.
And, the City of Westlake has a number of public parks, a public golf course, Meadow Wood, and the large Westlake Recreaction Center. There are, also, private facilities, such as Urban Fitness, Five Seasons, Lakewood Country Club, etc.
Best of all, if one is a homeowner in Settlers Reserve, he/she has a commute of approximately 20 minutes to downtown Cleveland and Cleveland Hopkins Airport, as well. There is quick access to I-90 and the Ohio Turnpike. And, through the Crocker/Stearns extension, he/she has easy access to I-480.
Settlers Reserve has a great diversity of age groups: senior citizens; empty nesters; families with teenagers; children in grade school; pre-school/day care age groups; and families without children. This age diversity provides the opportunity for friends, no matter what stage of life one is in. There is definitely a sense of community spirit.
When walking in our neighborhood, Steve and Pat Pribisko and all who live in Settlers Reserve have great sense of community, with residents waving, smiling and saying hello. Settlers Reserve provides a sense of warmth and safety. It is common for one to see people taking walks late in the evening and running in the early morning hours.
Steve and Pat Pribisko (Team Pribisko with Keller Williams Greater Cleveland West) have made a long term commitment to Settlers Reserve. Rather than downsizing elsewhere, Steve and Pat built a sizable addition to their Settlers Reserve home a few years ago; and in the fall of 2012, they had their front landscaping redone to have a totally new look for the warm months.
Steve and Pat Pribisko (Team Pribisko from Keller Williams West) are available to represent Sellers who must leave Settlers Reserve and represent Buyers who want to live in the best location in Westlake!! [Settlers Reserve Statistics][Search the MLS for Settlers Reserve]
