Meet Scout!

Scout is the cutest puppy. She is part Collie and Lab.... and is so precious.

My two sisters, Avis and Linda, adopted this puppy. Scout and her brother were found on the side of the road and my sisters took the girl puppy and named her Scout.

On our way to Vero Beach, FL we stopped in Charlotte NC to see my sisters and the newest member of the family, Scout. Needless to say Zeke, my chocolate lab, thought that Scout was a pesky little girl that followed him around. Zeke would just ignore Scout. It was fun to watch the two dogs ... one wanted to play and the other one wanted to be left alone.

Your story about Scout and Zeke, reminds me of my own dog, Kodi Bear, and my daughter's Golden Lab, Taffy. Kodi Bear is an older American Eskimo (Eskie). He's kind hearted and very gentle. I agreed to puppy sit, Taffy when she was a few months old. Kodi would be napping out on the lawn, and Taffy would fly across the grass and land in the middle of Kodi's back. I thought Kodi was going to need therapy, when Taffy finally went back home:-)

Debbie, yes Scout was the little girl in To Kill a Mockingbird, I believe!

Larry and Sheila, Scout does makes a great addition to their family. Although their cat doesn’t think so.

Chris & Dick, the temps here in Vero Beach is around 75 degrees, but afraid we will have snow on our return home.

Joan...hopefully they will be friends sooner than later :)

Kathleen, my sisters friend found the pups...their friend kept the brother and they took the girl pup.
