Post Office Closing in Clermont FL
Post Office that’s located inside the Circle K on Lakeshore Drive in Clermont FL will be closing their doors on March 15, 2013.
I personally liked the convenience of getting gas and take care of my mailing business at the same time. I will truly miss this location around Christmas! Lines were always short compared to other post offices in Clermont, I didn’t have to make it a mission to make a trip to the Post Office. 
If you live in SW side of Clermont and currently use the Post Office on Lakeshore Drive, you only have three more days to visit this tiny post office that served us well over the years. No matter how small or large, it's always sad to see a business shut it's doors I will miss having a Post Office at the gas station!
There are two other Post Offices in Clermont, one is located on Washington Street, the other one is in downtown Clermont on Minneola Street.

Beth, We all love convenience ... I know I do. Lines at my local post office are typically long and the service is generally poor. I think it is only a matter of time before we see the post office become extinct.

Hello Kathleen, I'm all about convenience, with shopping, driving..Two other post offices we have poor service as well. You're right, it's only a matter of time before they're all GONE!!

Will, you're right, it took many years for Post Office to get to the point where they have to cut back on service and shut down offices. My heart goes out to those employees and their families.

Thank you for the information, it is sad to hear they will be closing, but with today's technology we might see more and more of them closing. it is more convenient to pay our bills on line than drive to the post office. It is still a necessary if we want packages delivered.
