I Made My Buyer Cry When She Bought A Home In New Port Richey, FL

Two weeks ago, my buyer came into town from Colorado; she had two days to find a home, write a cash offer and have it accepted, and get the inspections done. We did it!

The report showed several issues that would need to be handled but my buyer didn’t have time to find another home. As we were saying goodbye she told me she would take care of the roof and other problems but could I get some concession from the seller to help her pay for some of the issues. When I asked her how much she wanted, she didn’t specify an amount-just wanted a couple of thousand dollars.

She was home in Colorado when I called to tell her that I got $5,000 taken off the contract price of the home. (It was a $50,000 contract). There was silence and then I heard sniffling and I realized she was crying. She was so happy.
