In looking for the song Taps to post on my Facebook wall today I watched several. And this version is quite educational. It tells the true story of the origin of the song TAPS. It's quite interesting and I hope you will enjoy it too.

Tammy, thank you. I always cry when I hear Taps, how can you not. And know I know quite a bit more about it. We didn't have Taps played at the end of our parade today, very unusual. We also had an accident happen during the parade just off the route and it rather changed everything, so perhaps that is why. Two high school students do it, one like an echo. And it brings a hush over the crowd.
This is one of the very few instruments a person can play with one hand. Hope you had a good Memorial Day, Tammy. Interesting video, although I did not watch it all the way to the end. My bad.
we must remember our sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, friends and acquaintances for their service to our country. I thank my son for giving the ultimate sacrifice to this country.
Great video. I did take some time today to remember our fallen heroes. I took the family to one cemetery that has a wonderful flag and flower display. It was beautiful.
No matter what the situation or where I am, when Taps is played it has special meaning and I am immediately in a place of remembrance.
