Localism posts are a part of what puts us on the map as far as bloggers in ActiveRain. It also invites other REALTORS®, stagers, virtual assistants, inspectors, loan officers, and importantly, potential clients to take a moment to virtually visit an area that they may otherwise never have known existed. If you could go anywhere in our ActiveRain blogging community to visit a place that you've read about, where would it be and why?
What has one of your fellow ActiveRain bloggers written or photographed to make you want to drop everything and BE THERE RIGHT NOW? Is it because of sandy beaches and blue-green waters? Mountain tops with fresh alpine air? An urban community that has every accoutrement a city person could ask for? This is why I created this contest. To spotlight a place that if you could go to, you would, transporting yourself there right now! SHARE it and tell us why it pulls at you.
This is how it works:
Pick your paradise and then tell us why that particular ActiveRain member has done SUCH a great job of "selling" you on it that if you could visit or move, THIS is the place you would go to for vacation, or for a lifetime. Your choice, but please include at least one link (preferably more) to a localism post that the ActiveRain member wrote that did it for you.
For example, Carpinteria, CA is a spot I would go and visit my dear friends, Alexandra and Ron Seigel. Everything from the beach to Beverly Hills, they give me nature and urbania, along with their luxurious prose. There's always something interesting going on in their world, whether they're jetting off to France or finding treasures in the sands of their home in Carpinteria CA....I want to be in their suitcase! They also teach us about branding and do it in an artistic manner while packing a punch with their thought-provoking posts.
Here are the simple rules:
- September 16th-September 30th
- One post only please!
- Each member will receive 1000 points
- 3 winners-1st place-3000 points, 2nd place-2000 points, 3rd place-1500 points
- Include at least one link and one photo from that member's area
- Please include your link to your post in your comment on this post only
- Minimum of 300 words but not too long, just enough to peak people's interest
Who knows, you may just have put that place on the map for someone's bucket list to visit--or even buy property!
