Traffic Update, City of Venice FL
This is an important traffic update for all the drivers in Venice going to the
City of Venice FL, check the information below before you leave home, so that you may arrive at your destination on time.
There will be intermittent short term delays at the Circus (south) Bridge. The effective date is as follows:
When: June 13, 2013 from 8:00pm to June 14, 2013 5:00am
Where: Circus (south) Bridge on Business 41
Reason: testing of hydraulic controls
Option: for your convenience, you may wish to use one of the other two bridges at Venice Avenue (Middle) Bridge or KMI (North) Bridge on Business 41 during this time.
Traffic update & Road closures, City of Venice FL
When: June 17, 2013 and continue for 7 to 10 calendar days
Where: Milan Avenue, Calle La Esquela, Bahama Avenue

Reasons: repair work on city gravity sewers at the intersection of Milan Avenue and Calle La Esquela. The work will be performed behind Obies Sub Shop in the alley and at the Milan intersection. The excavation and restoration work will require the alley to be closed from the Milan intersection north to the area behind Obies, as well as the westbound lane of Milan Avenue from Bahama Avenue to west of the intersection at the alley.
Emergency access on Milan Avenue will be maintained throughout the project.
