The real estate market in Whitney Oaks is going strong in June 2013. My objective in this report is to provide you with a Real Estate snapshot of the community. This report reviews the current market conditions and expectations as we continue to finish out the second quarter of 2013.

What is the neighborhood like?

The Whitney Oaks community is made up of 39 separate homes constructed by Drees Custom Homes as a condo regime. Whitney Oaks is one of NW Austin’s best kept secrets of detached homes in a condo setting built from 2002 through 2006 in an established quiet neighborhood centrally located in NW Austin. It’s conveniently located off Anderson Mill Rd on Spicewood Parkway.  Resident students attend these Round Rock Schools: Spicewood Elementary, Canyon Vista Middle School and Westwood High School. Living in Whitney Oaks you’ll find yourself located near a variety of shopping centers and malls, retail and close to major roads and employers.

This neighborhood is made up of stylish brick or stone or combinations on one and two story homes priced in the mid $300,000’s to the mid $400,000’s. 

Active listings in Whitney Oaks

As of June 10th the current inventory showed no available homes for sale. There is very little turn over in this pocket of homes. If you are thinking of selling in Whitney Oaks it is an excellent time to get your home listed. If you are priced and staged well your home will sell.

Hi Dorie, This report looks to have a couple of positive changes taking place. Prices and ave price look to be stable and the low days on market is a good indicator that there are buyers when the inventory becomes available.

It's a slice of downtown without the downtown price tag! I just listed one in Whitney Oaks and went under contract quickly and is closing mid July!!
