Enter to Win a Role in Portlandia  . . . I Did Not

I'm not sure what's up with me and contests of late.

Yesterday I wrote a post about the Thompson Water Seal contest because that's one thing we have in the Great Pacific NW -- wet decks.

Today I'm inspired to tell you about another wonderful Portland experience . . . Portlandia

Enter to Win a Role in the delightful show:  PORTLANDIA

If you've never watched that show, it's an amazing portrayal of life in the Rose City -- it's funny, because it's true!  I love that show.  I am NOT going to enter, however, because I live Portlandia EVERY DAY!

I watch Portlandia on Netflix, and for really good sound, I plug in my earphones to the laptop.  Brilliant!

Plus, if I won, what is Virgin Air going to do with their "round trip" to Portland flight?  Have me walk on, and off the airplane?!?   I live in Beaverton . . . last time I checked Virgin Air doesn't fly from Beaverton to Portland . . . but for one of your lucky ActiveRain peeps - this might be FUN!!

I've been trying to "reach out" to Fred Arminstan for YEARS now . . . read my post:  Hey Fred . . . Fred Arminstan Why Aren't You CALLING ME Your Portland Realtor?

Maybe it's time for me to solicit Carrie, since Fred seems to be so . . . incommunicado?!?

I have never seen the show, but saw an excerpt with someone ordering a chicken sandwish and then going on about Organic and how it was raised and so forth.  Very funny.

Carla, I have not seen the how either.  Darn, we would have loved seeing you try out for the role on the show.  Good luck on becoming their Realtor.  You never know, dreams can come true but only if you ask.

Carla- tell them you want the flights in reverse and I'll pick you up in Atlanta and bring you to the lake for a visit and then take you back to the airport. LOL

Carla,  I have to confess ... this is way over my head. It's likely proof that I live under a rock.

I've not seen the show either ... however I enjoyed the last season of "Leverage" being filmed there. So many familiar sights!

Hey, Carla, you could mess with Virgin.  I am sure you would win and then they would have to run around in circles to meet their obligations.

Hi Gene . . . The show is hilarious.  Netflix an episode if you have the time!  And the except is a good example!

Hey Barbara -- me begging / groveling to be their Realtor is a classic Portlandia thing to do.  It's a very funny show!

Hey Tammy -- that would be GREAT!!!

Hi Kathleen . . . the other day I wrote a post and entered to win.  On this "contest" what's the point of entering since I live 15 mins. outside of Portland . . . HA HA HA

Hey Cynthia -- there's a few good shows filmed here, Grimm is another one!

Hi Jane . . . maybe Portland residents or Oregonians aren't allowed to enter . . . that would be classic Portlandia!!  Beaverton to Portland airport is 30 mins by car. when traffic flows right.  I know, I just dropped Carlson off (he was visiting me this weekend).
