This tip will save you 100 minutes in no time!

Some of you might not mind this, but after showing 10-20 homes, I suddenly get a flurry of calls. "What did you think about the place." Sometimes 20 calls because the agent will try a couple of times to reach me.

First of all, I have no memory. So they try to explain that there house was the one on the corner near the lilac bushes. As I noticed the bushes.

So I made a new batch of business cards that say to email me for feedback and to include photos or a link to the property. I put the phone number is a VERY light gray in case they really really need to call me. The card

It works great. Fewer calls, more feedback given, everyone is happy.

Frank-This is a great idea!  And you have a way to measure the response as well. Very inventive A+

Florida real estate appraiserGreat Idea Frank..   I like the light gray!! haha.. subliminal at its best.  dont call me man!!
I tend to make notes on the MLS sheets and have a template I copy and email to the agent's email. This is when showings are not out of control.   Your idea is better when your showing that many homes.. yikes! BTW, you should put your tennis card up here also..  see you.

Frank,. One of our members a while back had posted what I thought was the best idea for feedback I had ever heard. He had jumbo high gloss biz cards made with the back being a check list of comments about the house: showed well, priced right etc.....before leaving the property he would check the applicable areas and leave the card on the counter. Feed back done. And of course his card would stand out in the stack just in case the sellers needed to change REALTORS(R) down the road. Brilliant!!!! IMO

Great idea!  I have even seen the ones where you write the feedback right on the card, but I worry about the seller's on that one.

That is nice...I show a LOT of property and rarely get feedback calls. I was absolutely shocked the other day when an agent not only called me for feedback (in a timely manner I might add), described the home in question beautifully and when I gave my clients objection, offered solutions to overcome it.  Granted in this case, my buyer wouldn't have gone for the solutions, but at least she tried!

Wow, agents must be horrible where you are from. I get swamped with phone calls. I hate it since I have a horrible memory and I'd prefer an email.

I'm stealing this idea! I was thinking about making a check form to leave, this is better. Only problem is Supra sends phone info when you access the box.

Jim, My boy, Jim.

Where there are problems, there are solutions. Do what I do! Hire AnswerConnect.com for your main line phone calls of give a separate number to the MLS. AC is an operator in Ohio that will answer my calls. Transcribe the message and email me to my cell phone the message. Also they are instructed to ask for the email twice!

Maybe I'll blog about it shortly.

So they call, I email!

I like your idea and I like Bryant's also. It is a problem remembering which was which especially when they wait a few days---I've been in lots of homes since then!

Great idea. I try to give feedbacks now (online or email) since I've become a listing agent. I am sure they appreciate it because I do.

Wonderful Idea! I too prefer receiving e-mails requesting feedback on a property. My responses to the e-mails are a thorough review whereas any calls requesting feedback are very brief and probably not very helpful to the listing agent.

Fabulous idea! I have been finding myself in similar situations... I much prefer the emails with pictures to remind me of what home I am supposed to be giving feedbacks on!

 Thanks for the tip!

Good Idea Frank... But most of the notifications that the home was show come via e-mail when the Realtor has used a lock box key to enter the home. So what I am saying is that I may not see the card before I get notification that the home was shown. So you would be receiving a phone call or e-mail from me requesting feedback... Just doing my job.

Hey Donna,

If you call the number, it tells you to email me.. ;-)

I don't publish my direct cell, only my clients and agents and friends get that.

I like these!  I have a bunch of cards myself.  What is your cost?  I always get cards on thick 16pt card stock, that can be full color on both sides.  The price is $99 for 2500, and $150 for 5000.  I also do an oversize card (4.25"x2.75") that is only $199 for 2500, $250 for 5000 and only $350 for 10,000.  I would be happy to give a referral for anyone who wants it.

I am going to make some cards like yours this week!

So the sellers see the feedback card (if house is occupied)... not the agent?

Any complaints from agents who don't want their sellers receiving the cards directly?

I love the card idea too!

I always write down buyer feedback on my property pages as I'm showing, then I have my assistant call and read the feedback within 24 business hours. However, I always get a few calls before that, so this card will alert them that they should excpect a call from my assistant and/or to e-mail for feedback.

Thanks for the fesh tip!

I can go out and show 50 houses and not get a single request for feedback... and then show two and have 30 calls... go figure.  But our MLS has live showing data, so I can get an email or phone call before I can get home.  Heck... it is more convenient to email from the message, but some agents seem to be computer averse.

Great idea! I did show 40 houses in couple of days last week and they all meshed together. I was swamped with calls while I was still showing property.  Thanks

Sounds like a good idea.  Email would be easier.  After  so many houses they are hard to remember which one.
