As Promised, The Rains Came to the Sierra Foothills of El Dorado County.
The forecast was for rain early this morning, and that is exactly what we got. At times it was pretty heavy; something that we haven’t seen in many months. I was driving up the hill this afternoon, leaving Sacramento, and it looked like we were still in for some more rain.
We had rain here in Gilroy, CA as well, near the coast. It did come down pretty heavy at times, which is unusual for this time of year. Fall begins tomorrow. Stay dry.
Tom: Wow, that looks pretty dark. But California needs rain so we can't complain when it comes. It just comes down so fast then, taking people by surprise.
We do need the rain on the West Coast don't we Hella? We got some Lakes to fill. :)
