The Trumbull CT real estate market report for September 2013 showed a 19% decrease in sales as compared to the same period last year.  Sales were also down significantly from last month, but August was definitely a banner month.  See previous reports below.

 However, listing and sales averages for September 2013 both INCREASED  21%.  The median price was UP 15%.  

Days on the market went DOWN 6% AND market absorption came in with a 6.80 months supply of homes, back into a buyer's market statistically.

Futures are still looking good with 46 homes under deposit and 39 homes under contract.  October is shaping up to be a better month with 27 sales already recorded as of the date of this report.

The absorption TREND, which shows the number of months it would take to sell the entire inventory at the same pace, came in at 3.54 months for the last three months.
