Karen Anne Stone is still at the Kindred Hospital in Arlington. I paid her a visit today. She is still in ICU with limited visitation. She knows I was there; however, her speech is difficult to understand. Per her doctor, this is all I can say:
"Stone is making improvements and has a long way to go."
Patricia I am so glad you shared this update, I was thinking of her and wondering about her condition. So glad to hear she is improving.

I had wondered what had happened as I had not seen Karen on AR for quite a while.
I kept checking everyday to see if she was on as she is so close to becoming an AR millionaire!

Yes, I was just wondering about her yesterday as well. So glad she is improving. Good for you in visiting and sharing the love and support from AR. I love the idea of sending more cards.

I appreciate the update Patricia. It has been a very long road for Karen Anne back.
Than you so much, Patricia, for the update on Karen and on you! I had another major surgery three weeks ago and spent 12 days in the hospital. Karen Anne has been on my mind and in my prayers. Bless you for taking the time to visit her so soon after your own surgery. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. I certainly know how blessed you feel, because I feel that way, too.

Patricia, thank you for posting this update. I was wondering about Karen Anne today. It is so nice of you to visit her again. What a wonderful community we share here. Karen Anne is fortunate to have all of us praying and rooting for her.
Patricia, just seeing this update - I've been so anxious to hear ANYthing about her condition. Thank you so much for letting us know - I pray that by now, she has made a good deal more progress than when you saw her in November.
I just decided to search about Karen Anne to see if there were any updates on her well being. I hope that she is doing ok and I am keeping her in my prayers.

I do not have a current mailing address for Karen Anne Stone. I am not a relative and was not able to get any information from the Medical Facilities nor has her Broker.
Patricia - I just went to her last blog, and it was August of 2013. She said she probably wouldn't be able to write a blog for one week... This week is nearly a year and a half. I have a terrible feeling that she felt it. She was afraid, and you could hear it in her blog. It was not common for her.
We exchanged emails before, and she was saying that she was afraid of doing it, and she knew she would die without the surgery. This was a few months before she finally made her mind.
