This past year, God has enabled us to help a good number of needy families and individuals with our ministry, including 3 different homeless families that we helped to get into 
their own homes. The vast majority of the funds for this came from my online contacts and a few local friends, and our church.
This week, I'm trying to raise money to help three single moms and their children, so the kids can have Christmas gifts. I set the goal at $1,000. I think we can get it done for less, but there are some fees involved with online fundraising, and TODAY we were contacted by Spirit 105.9 (local Christian radio station) asking if our ministry could help a couple of additional families, so the need could increase.
As always, 100% of the money we receive will go toward helping someone in need. If we exceed the goal I set, all of the excess funds will likely be used for gas, groceries, moving expenses, medication, or other needs that would otherwise go unmet.
