Dan St. Paul appearing at Pacific Pinball Museum

Dan is a veteran of the San Francisco comedy scene with a hiatus in Los Angeles and as a opening act for Jerry Seinfeld, Natalie Cole and Smokey Robinson.

He talks about the changes he has experienced since reaching the half-century mark.  “I am a cylinder now.  I can wear a belt anywhere on my body,” he says of his maturing body.  “ I have eight  pairs of reading glassing and I have no idea where they,” he says of his faulty memory.

Lovers of comedy in their 50’s will relate to Dan’s revelations on aging but so will everyone else.  “What’s So Funny After 50?” is part of a series of Comedy and Pinball for a Cause to raise funds to renovate the Carnegie Library which will eventually house the Pacific Pinball Museum.

The Pacific Pinball Museum is a 501(c)3 non profit whose mission statement is "To inspire an interest in science, art and history through pinball and to preserve and promote this important part of American culture."

The Museum’s has a priceless collection of antiques pinball machines and beautiful art features on the machines along with pinball mural art.  As part of the Pacific Pinball Museum's mission to preserve pinball art for future generations, talented professional artists have reproduced some of the finest works in pinball history onto large canvases murals. It is a very heady experience when you first enter the Pinball Museum with flashing lights and the sounds of all the pinball machines in use.

Pinball!  I used to be a "Pinball Wizard" back in the day, winning free games and setting point records.

Best wishes for a successful fundraiser and a good time!

Fred:

I know.  My husband was also a pinball wiz in his youth.  I love the place just for the atmosphere.  Noisy, flashing lights and people having fun.  What could be better.
