I had lunch with Maryland's Newest ActiveRain Blogger today!
Please help me welcome
Ellen Eylanbekov to ActiveRain.
Ellen reached out to me after Laura, another realtor in her office, suggested that I may be able to help her to get started on ActiveRain. Laura knows that I am a big proponent of ActiveRain, I am honored that she thought to send Ellen my way. Ellen sent me a message about wanting to "Pick My Brain" a little about my experience with blogging on this platform. She asked for a few minutes, instead we met for lunch at one of my favorite Catonsville eateries...Duesenberg's at 10 Mellor Avenue in Catonsville, MD. I was thrilled to be able to share my thoughts on blogging, and on ActiveRain in particular!
There was a short wait and we were laughing like old friends even before we got seated! Ellen is originally from New York and lived in Connecticut before making her way to Maryland with her husband. The Howard County mom of 3 (a high schooler, middler schooler and elementary schooler) is easy to talk to, sharp and has great memories of previewing houses with her investor Granddad during her childhood. What an awesome introduction into real estate!
Though she has been licensed for over 3 years, in 2013 she transferred her license to Keller Williams Greater Howard County in Maryland. She has decided that 2014 is her year to really make a big splash in Real Estate, and she wants to make blogging a big part of her marketing plan. With a background in graphic arts and marketing, blogging is a perfect fit for her! And what better place to make a SPLASH than ActiveRain!
Please check out her first post. I think Ellen NAILED IT!
Preparing Your Home To Sell; Top 10 Things Every Seller Should Do
It is well written and has lots of good information for sellers. I think it also goes great with AR's latest Inforgraphic on the Biggest Mistakes Seller's Make.
Please be sure to comment on Ellen's post and welcome her to this amazing Real Estate platform!
