It's always a good idea to have proper tires, but in the snow and ice we have had this winter, it is crucial.   I have had semi bald tires on the front of my car, and have been avoiding driving in the bad weather.   Finally, today, Presidents' Day, I have the time, and are sitting at Town Fair Tire to get brand new tires on the front.   Actually, they shifted the backs to the front, and are placing the new on the back of the car.

I am at Town Fair Tire in Norwalk, on Main Avenue, just off of the top of the Route 7 Connector.

They have always provided us with superb tire service, and run a good service business.    Easy to get to, and easy to wait for the work to be done.

I MUST drive tomorrow, and I hear we now are getting 3-5 inches of snow.    When will this end?

We don't have the snow that you do Pat but I can see the need for proper tires when driving in snow and ice.

Pat, we had a warm sunny day here and hope we do not get any more snow, but know we will.  I got new tires in December.

Pat we often don't think about the tires on our cars, but our safety depends on then  especially in this weather.  With these new tires drivers should not feel they can drive fast, good tires won't save you from a spin out if you fail to slow down.
