There’s a Great Difference Between a Worry and a Concern
“There is a great difference between worry and concern. A
worried person sees a problem and a concerned person
solves the problem.”
Harold Stephens, American Author
As I see it . . . . . . .
There’s a great difference between a worry and a concern
Worry is focused on the problem . . . . and the past.
Your thinking is stuck in the past, worrying about something that has taken place and can’t be changed. Worrying creates a negative mindset . . . . and focuses you energy and thinking on the problem.
The key is there is no amount of worrying that you can do that will cure the problem.
A concern is in the here and now . . . . and focusing your energy and efforts on finding a solution to the concern is a difference story. When you’re focused on the solution you are focusing your thinking forward to remove the concern.
There’s a great difference between a worry and a concern . . . . worrying keeps you locked into the past. Worrying will also create a great deal of stress in your life without finding the resolution to the problem.
Focusing on your concern becomes an actionable and manageable condition that with forethought and effort can be successfully be put to rest.
There’s a great difference between a worry and a concern . . . . and it’s all in how you look at it . . . . and what you do about it.
