I love it and hate it all at the same time. I have 3 closings set to take place this Thursday. That's the good news. The bad news is that I cannot possible attend them all due to geographic issues. The one I can't attend is actually the one I would really like to go to, but I have asked another agent to go to that one for me.
Closings are almost always fun. It is the culmination of everyone's hard work. It is the time both sides get together and enjoy the moment. Yes, we agents usually get paid at that point as well, but I really like sharing this moment with the buyers and sellers.
I can only get to two on Thursday. They are both connected as they are both my listings being sold and one seller is buying the others home. I know these will be great closings for these clients, but I will miss not being with my other sellers too. Sometimes I just can't get to everything I want to do.
