HEADS

OR

TAILS?

Isn't it remarkable how entertaining a squirrel can be? The little guy was playing Hide-N-Seek and I couldn't resist keeping my eye on what he would do next. Squirrels, they run around in search of food, hunting and nibbling on nuts from the trees; they can be playful, naughty or nice. Once this squirrel knew I wasn't going to leave, he poised for me.

How about that! I got a nice HEAD SHOT! I just love when I get cooperation, don't you?

I hope you're having a GREAT day too! May there be no rudeness, just life balance and cooperation.

Patricia, I find squirrels to be extremely entertaining. Their aerial maneuvers fascinate me. The things they do to get to the bird feeder on my patio tells me that are very resourceful too.

Patricia I have squirrels all over my yard, and for the first time this week I saw one eating the flowers on my azalea bushes.  I did not know they ate flowers, I thought they just ate different types of nuts.

Patricia, we have lots of surplus walnuts and hickory nuts from our yard, and each Fall I take many buckets of nuts to one of the West Lafayette wooded parks where they lost many of their walnut trees in a wind shear.  Yes, they are fun to watch!

I really like squirrels. Except in my garden, but that is rarely an issue in my area. We don't have a lot of squirrels around here. Nice pictures, Patricia.

Good shot Patricia!  I love watching them, but not digging up my yard! They have been running our fence line in the back yard which is about 600 feet, and it amazes me how they keep their balance.

Patricia,

How precious and I am glad you took a shot of him in two positions.  Great flowers by the way.  We flew via Dallas on our recent trip to Ft.  Myers, Florida, and I was thinking of you being down there from the airplane in Flower Mound...One of these days, we will have to meet.  A

They can be adorable, especially when they remain in the trees and not on my balcony.
