Fishhawk Lake Tuesday Travelogue-July 15th
Welcome to the ongoing weekly series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our sixth week! Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
" to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
We are traveling in time--some fast forward and some back in time. Enjoy!
How many of us have traveled ALL 50 States? How many even have the gumption to put this on our bucket list?? Such an interesting post from the past....2012. AND QUITE AN ACCOMPLISHMENT! Find out what "right smart" means to a West Virginian (just as a tease!) Thank you, Donald Hester.
How'd You Kids Grow Up So Fast? This IS about a wedding that Rene Fabre attended and kids all grown up, but the GORGEOUS photographs of the doings of a master gardener and the silliness of the wedding party are fun to look in on, even if you don't know anybody!
Some posts are timeless. I found this moving piece written by Roland Woodworth by just typing in "Traveling". This visit to The Vietnam Memorial is beautifully done, and who cares that it was written in 2009? It is a testament to the "history" your blogs can create.
The Sands of Time, with a twist! This self-proclaimed "Traveling Rainer", Mike Jones , takes us to some sand dunes along with sharing some history of why they look the way they do! (Ironically, this post is almost 4 years to-the-day old!)
Please be sure and take the time to comment on these blogposts!
I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels. Please feel free to join our group
