Glad I Checked My Voice Mail . . . I Don't Check That Very Often
My hand to God . . . I just received a return call to one I had made earlier this afternoon.
The conversation has left me speechless. So glad my fingers do the walking, err, typing.
In setting up a tour of condos for my relocation client, I left a message with the listing agent.
Why?
Because their showing instructions stated APPOINTMENT ONLY.
"Text showing time."
Okay, so I CALLED . . . . . . . . and left a voice mail message. Big whoop.
When the agent returned my called, he said "Oh, I'm so glad I checked my voice mail messages today. I don't check for messages very often." He was kinda snarky-like.
OH COME ON . . .
If I'm pushing 60 and have to continually come up with a million new ways to RE-DESIGN my business in order to continue to practice real estate effectively -- from fax machines to Docu-sign in one easy decade -- you young'ens can:
CHECK YOUR FREAKING VOICE MAIL FOR MESSAGES
and not act as if . . . I'm incompetent because I CALLED . . . instead of "texted"
Here's a few tips from an old timer

. . . Do NOT rely on ONE METHOD OF COMMUNICATION that's convenient to YOU!
