A very Successful Prospect CT Car Show and Sock Hop
The weather was perfect and the people of Prospect CT as well as neighboring towns came out for an Old Fashioned car show and Sock Hop. 2 bands played all afternoon as well as a DJ during breaks. The sounds were of the 50's and 60's and from appearances, those trying to dance were well past their 50's at the very least.
The cars were of all types and vintages as well as commercial vehicles, fire engines and military vehicles. There was something for everyone and all seemed to be having a great time as well.
School starts up this week for many area towns, and all will at least have the memory of a great party on the town green in Prospect CT.
