Tomorrow is the third day in a great three day weekend. It is however Labor Day when we as a people think about working and those who do so. I am also thinking about those looking for work today. Work can be hard but it is also empowering. I am always mindful of how lucky I am and how hard others have it. Do what you can to support local businesses so that those in need can find work to make their lives better. A three day weekend is a privilege too many can't enjoy because they are still looking for the fulfillment of their own hopes and dreams. Remember to be thankful.
A great reminder Sheila! Happy labor day!

You are so right about this; the unemployment numbers aren't so rosy when we consider how many people have dropped out of the work force and have stopped looking for jobs they cannot find. I cannot imagine how helpless that must feel.

Good morning friends and thank you for stopping by and leaving your comments and offering your support: I really appreciate it.
Hello Brian. Thank you very much for your support. Enjoy your day.
Hi Bill and Cyndi. It is a hard lesson to learn: it was for me, but once I got it, things got better. Thank you for your support.
Hello Joe. I think it is called mindfulness and I believe in it. Everyday is a chance to do better and be better. Have a great day.
Hi James. I'm glad you got "caught up" and will now begin the arduous process of finding a new home for your family. I couldn't forget the pups.
Happy Labor Day all.
Sheila
I have a son, who works at Lowe's. This is likely to be a busy day at work for him. It is important to remember why we toil, and to be grateful for time off!

So true. I'm so lucky to be with family right now, and I can take it relatively easy and rest up today. Hoping to try a bit of walking in my boot tomorrow when I reach my 2 week mark. We shall see if it works.

One thing worse than working too much is not being able to when you want to work. Think about this a lot. Working can be a gift.
