The SCOOP stands for South Central Oklahoma Oil Province and it looks to be a historic find. The Baaken Shale in North Dakota set off a boom because not only did it have natural gas it had an estimated 23 billion barrels of oil in reserve. The SCOOP which is about 45 minutes south of Downtown Oklahoma City is estimated to have 70 billion barrels of oil in reserve. This is important because we have plenty of natural gas but not oil. This is going to add to our boom economy in Oklahoma City and we are preparing real state investments to take advantage of large return on investments. Not only does this strengthen the Oklahoma City economy because of the energy companies here adding personal, it is also creating demand in the region of the oil find. If you want to be put on a mailing list for investment homes in Oklahoma that will take advantage of the job growth south of Oklahoma City in The SCOOP, please email us at joe@joepryor.com.
Wow this is interesting. I have a buddy who is in that indursty I am meeting with this am and I will ask him about this
David, Continental Resources out of Oklahoma City is putting $900 million a year into The SCOOP. They were one of the primary energy companies behind the development of The Baaken Shale. Marathon Oil is also a big player. We are working to buy an undeveloped subdivision in the heart of this area for investors.
Really interesting information Joe. I have never run into anything like you described in any the eight states I do business. Thanks for the lesson.
Make it a great weekend!
Joe: great news! Kind of ticks me off though, because I thought many times about buying some cheap Oklahoma land, now that's a lost opportunity. Good luck!
Joe -- Interesting and uplifting facts and figures. Love to see 'job growth' and 'large return on investments' again.
Joe, You have enlightened us all with this post. Boy thats a lot of oil!!!!!
That is a lot of oil in reserve...but how long would it take us to consume it?
Great video by the way! I love that you address pumping stations and what it means for those who live in subdivisions and their rights.
Interesting information indeed, Joe. I will be so happy when we turn to alternative energy.
