Highlands Ranch Golf Course Homes - Highlands Ranch Colorado - 2014 has been a great year for golf in Colorado, lots of extra moisture keeping the courses in great shape form early spring right through the first of November and with a little luck we might have a few more weeks to play before having to resort to winter golf.
Highlands Ranch Golf Club is located between Sante Fe and Lucent Blvd. just south of C-470 in Highlands Ranch, CO and is designed by Colorados own Hale Irwin. A wonderful layout with some breathtaking views of the front range. My men's group at church finished their third season of play at this semi-private club and everyone really seems to enjoy the course.
As far as real estate is concerned, Highlands Ranch has a very nice price range for those that desire golf course living, 25 homes in and around the club have sold this year with prices ranging from $520K for a 3800 square foot 2-story to $852K for a 6400+ square foot 2-story with fully finished walkout backing to the course with unobstructed mountain views.
A fairly typical year for the housing market on this course with homes falling between $500K-1M.
There are a few townhomes on the course as well and they are typically in the mid $200Ks to lower $300Ks but none have shown up on the market this year.
If a golf course lifestyle is for you, then I would highly recommend looking into Highlands Ranch, currently 3 homes are on the market from $529-701K and additional amenities include 3 different recreation facilities that come with being a resident of Highlands Ranch, miles and miles of hiking and biking trails and a south metro Denver location that makes commuting to Downtown or the Tech center a piece of cake.
In 2012, Highlands Ranch Golf Club was endowed to the University of Denver, Highlands Ranch is the official home to the University of Denver Pioneers golf team.
