Every week I pick 10 posts that I think that could use a second look, a little more exposure, or that are so good that I want all my friends to have a chance to experience it.

This week is no exception and it has been a challenge to narrow the list down to 10, I hope that you enjoy these along with a few more that you may find on the author's blog site.

Take a few minutes to click on the title of this post, this will take you to the original blog post where the author would be excited to hear your thoughts on their post.

I just started reading Margaret Rome's book, Real Estate the Right Rome Way. I knew that when I read it, I'd find plenty to blog about. But I never thought I would be so inspired so quickly! Chapter 1 page 15 Margaret discusses a very important acronym ... WIN.

Now of course the word, WIN is meaningful to all of us. Who doesn't like to WIN? But if you look beyond the obvious, you'll find that these three letters represent a very important question that we all need to ask ourselves several times a day. This question should guide us in EVERYTHING we do, in EVERY decision that we make, each and EVERY day .... That question? "What's Important Now?"

These letters should be etched on the forhead of every busy person because we all need this important reminder sometimes ... especially when we're overwhelmed with life .... when we're being pulled in countless different directions ... when we've [temporarily] forgotten what our priorities are. Asking the question,"What's Important Now?" helps put things into perspective and keeps us focused on what's truly important.

Steven Covey tells us to, "begin with the end in mind" - these are very powerful words. Being perfectly clear about what our desired outcomes are will ultimately lead us to the success we desire. We must always know EXACTLY what we want now and in the future. DECIDE: what is the desired result of a relationship? a conversation? a transaction? a meeting? a job? a phone call?  Anything.

Always stay focused on the desired [long or short term] end result then ask yourself, "What's Important Now?". As long as we act in accordance with that answer we can't go wrong! Thanks Margaret for this reminder.
