Lockheed Martin announced on Friday that the Ocala plant has doubled the number of workers at the facility in the last five years. The Ocala Operations is a system assembly and high-rate production facility. It manufactures electronic assemblies for commercial, defense and space applications. Additionally, Ocala performs assembly and testing for various Missiles and Fire Control programs.
Hopefully, these extra dollars in our local economy will mean great things for home sales in Marion County!
