Motivational Monday: Self-love
This is something we all need, everyday, all year long, even in our sleep, Self love. This is about being narcissistic, it's simply setting standards for yourself and being very mindful with who you allow to surround you during this journey. Your life, your emotions, your body, your energy, your home is a precious gift and sometimes its not meant to be shared with everyone.
We have all been there, someone taking advantage of us, talking down to us, projecting their fear based ideas onto us. If not aware, you can easily be influenced by that interaction. Remember, you are your own temple and your home is a temple.
Would you allow someone to speak negatively to you in your place of peace and devotion to self?
Not in my temple.
Self love is about knowing your own worth, setting key core standards and values that you stick to. This will make life a whole lot easier with decision making and addressing conflict when it arises. You always have a choice with who you allow to be surrounded by. Sometimes we are given challenging situations where we find ourselves asking, Why me? From a Feng Shui perspective, if you have set a certain goal that requires a certain character from within to shine outward, that challenge is a blessing in disguise. People and events have been put in your path to help build a stronger you from within.
Live everyday with passion, give thanks and focus on what matters and adds value to your life.
