Behind The Scenes - The Making of My Peep Show

By
Home Stager with Sharon Tara Transformations

Yesterday I posted my weekly Wordless Wednesday  post featuring my grandbabies.

While replying to comments, I realized that many of you may be interested to see just what went into the making of this week's picture.

My WW posts always begin with an internet search for a Public Domain picture.

After exhausting all of my usual sources, the only Easter picture I found with potential was this picture:

I started by cropping the 3 chicks.  I added the cropped chicks to a blue background.

Next, in order to widen the picture, I added a reverse image of the same chicks.

I added individual pictures of each of the kids.

I wanted more of a vintage look so I made the picture Black & White.

I lightly colorized the chicks so they would stand out better.

Then I used a "posterize" effect and added a little faint color to the kids to create more of a magazine picture appearance.

Will:  That's nice of you to say!  Thank you!

Kathy:  Thank you.  The "talent" comes from lots of practice because I have the patience to practice.  Not in everything in life, only in the things I enjoy, LOL!

Sharon, you certainly can turn this into money making business, I'm certain Realtors would use your services for their marketing..aside from knowing how to use the programs, one needs to be creative just like you..

And Sharon - I so agree with Beth Atalay  that your creativity could be quite lucrative but I'm pretty sure what you share here and in your life has do with love.  And it shows.

You are certainly an expert at this craft. I will invest more time into doing picture editing in the future because it's something that I do enjoy.

Not only can you stage a home but you can stage a photo!  Well done!  Love the finished product.

Brian:  Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!

Patty:  Thank you!

Beth:  That would be wonderful, but it's hard enough selling agents on staging consults, never mind creative photo editing.  Don't think I'm up to the task, LOL.

Michael:  Thank you!  I appreciate your enthusiasm, but as I told Beth, I believe it would be a hard sell, one I'm not up to.  Yes, you are right, it's with love I make most of my pics.

Nicole:  The more time you practice (play), the better you will get!

Carla:  Thank you, I really do enjoy it!  I'm happiest when I'm being creative.

Hi Sharon - Interesting walk-through, and a great example of how the right tools and some time spent learning how to use them can provide a showcase for our creativity. Thanks.

Rob:  At any given time it can turn into a poop show over here!  LOL

Larry:  Hey it may give someone some ideas.  I hope so.

James:  You could do it.  It just takes practice.

Grant Schneider   Photoshop has always intimidated me....too much to be learned.  I use Ribbet, it's much more user friendly.

Debbie Reynolds  Some pictures take longer than others.  I enjoy working on pics while watching tv at night.

Sally K. & David L. Hanson  It's more about practice than it is patience.
