Okay, I sort of know - they love snug and warm places. And, they feel safe. This morning I got a good shot of my cat in this box. He fits in perfectly.
Last week, I found him in this.
I also found on the counter top snuggled in between things. I couldn't get the camera out in time as he started to purr and play.
Got to love how they make anything look comfortable.

I can relate, Debbie. My 20 pound cat will fit himself into the smallest boxes if any are around. It's a scream to watch him maneuver himself in!

Hi Debbie Gartner ... This is just such a cute post. I have so many fond memories of our cats doing that. Especially remember as a kid being at Grandma's house. She always was putting a box out for them to play and I swear the cats looked forward to grocery shopping day because she'd always put one of the big paper bags out for them to play in and they would have so much fun with it, eventually tearing it to shreds. :O)

Cats are pretty interesting creatures aren't they? Ours love boxes, and grocery bags. Fave spots tend to be baskets but I have found then in the sink a few times and Berkeley curled up in a big salad bowl on the table one time. And forget about clean linens on the bed or the dining room table - it's like they have radar
