As Tallahassee's only gated, golf-course community, the privacy and lifestyle are a consistent draw every year. And it's not just any golf course, Golden Eagle features a Tom Fazio golf course that is considered to be one of the finest tracts in North Florida. Average house prices are down about 2.5% in 2015 versus last year, but still well above the lows seen in 2012 and 2013. Prices remain 25% below the peak of the market prices established in 2007 (not counting the one atypically large sale in 2009). House sales activity in 2015 remains fairly strong, as the current rate of sales if continued will stand one of the best of the past ten years.
