Today, I started revisiting an age old classic, “Think and Grow Rich”. This is one of those books that every time I read or listen to it on audio, something new seems to jump off the pages. Sometimes, I swear, I think I am reading or hearing the book for the first time. As I listen to the book between jobs, I marvel at how mere mortals, such as myself, amassed fortunes from an idea or thinking themselves in a position where they amass riches.
When I look at the concept, there is not a lot that separates the haves, from the have nots other than what they perceive to be true in their own mind. If folks realized the power of thought and the power of words, they would never think or say another negative thing. Christ eluded to this several times.
When I look at all the men and women that Napoleon Hill interviewed in his 25 years of research before writing his classic, they all understood and embraced the fundamentals outlined in his book. Today was spent in much contemplation, tomorrow and the weekend will be spent writing a new business plan and Monday I will begin implementing the plan. How’s that for a plan?
