San Francisco's Bay Aquarium on Fisherman's Wharf

There is sooo much to do when visiting San Fransisco. One place I recommend everyone, adult and children alike to stop and see is the Bay Aquarium of San Francisco.  I promise you will NOT be disappointed. We went in an hour and a half before closing and it felt like we created our own private tour. Everyone had left the complex except us and the remaining employees.

We started backwards with the aquarium and came across very playful Otters, then making our way to view some active turtles and touched the wings of Sting Rays.

The tunnel is the also another highlight  where you get to walk among amazing Oceanic creatures. What an interesting Feng Shui inspired front entrance this would make.

Those pics are flipping awesome! I love the tube to walk through and see the "ocean" as if you are underwater

I love the SF aquarium!!!!  Thanks for reminding me, a little overdue on my part.  Meanwhile, if you head north, just a wee little jump across the GG bridge, there's lots going on this weekend! Tiburon is about to have an Italian celebration this Friday commenmorating Sam's 50th anniversary, the Pacifics Baseball is having a Jerry Garcia day on Saturday (Phil Lesh singing the national anthem) and the last San Anselmo concert is this Sunday at 3:00!

When I lived in San Francisco, I lived very close to the Wharf!

I use to walk down there at night wondering why I was single at the time? With the fog coming in at night and the fog horns there was a sence of loneliness ;o(

But yet I still love the Wharf, very interesting place ;o)
